Educational seminar for gardeners and planters

On 25. 9. 2018, the first "Lawn Day" organized by Adam-zahradnická, a.s. took place in the Tosca Hotel in Čelákovice, brought new trends towards greener, biologically oriented lawn farming. The first speaker, Olaf Bos of Barenbrug, introduced new mixtures that should save water and significantly reduce the number of mowers and thus cost savings. In the second lecture, Robin van Deumel of Mivena explained the importance of proper distribution of individual nutrients for balanced nutrition and the difference between short-term and long-term nutrition. The theme of the next lecture was biological protection of plants. Pireco founder Wim van Garderen has shown that chemical-based products are not the only way to cope with the increasing pressure of diseases and pests. Regular preventive application of products based on concentrated extracts from selected plants and herbs can achieve high resistance of plants.

In the last lecture, Ing. Václavík from Olmix explained that healthy soil is the basis for healthy plant development. He showed that the current state of play in this area in the Czech Republic is not very good and has brought several paths represented by different products to achieve improvement of the microbial state of the soil. Listeners were able to take samples of new grass mixtures and some other products. At Adam-zahradnická, a.s., we believe that thanks to this event we have been able to show that with appropriate selection of products, grass mixtures starting with and supporting soil products, quality nutrition and prevention in the field of plant protection, it is possible to ensure healthy development of plants with significant cost savings.
